There’s an interesting exchange going on over at The University of Chicago Law School Faculty Blog on "Ambiguity about Ambiguity: An Empirical Inquiry into Legal Interpretation” by Ward Farnsworth, Dustin F. Guzior, and Anup Malani. Malani’s opening remarks are here. So far, responses are up from Einer Elhauge (Harvard), William Eskridge (Yale), and Judge Stephen Williams (D.C. Circuit), as well as a response to the responses from Ward Farnsworth of Boston University. According to the debate introduction, Judge Frank Easterbrook and Judge Richard Posner are also expected to respond. Start here at the homepage, then scroll down to follow the entire debate.
