It looks like Kaplan Education is searching for a new dean. As I was trolling through the Chronicle of Higher Ed today, I came up on a job posting for the dean slot at Kaplan's online Concord Law School. People were suprised when Barry Currier - the former ABA Deputy Consultant on Legal Education (an dean at Cumberland Law) - joined Concord back in 2004. Since then, the law school has been quite successful for Kaplan. I wonder what sort of person they'll be looking for at this point: more of business type or someone who can help push the school and the ABA closer together on issues of accreditation.
