Over at legal history blog, Mary Dudziak is covering the Green Bag Exemplary Writing Awards for 2009 that have been given to legal historians: Annette Gordon-Reed for her Pulitzer-Prize winning The Hemingses of Monticello (which we're written about here) and G. Edward White's introduction to the new edition of Holmes' The Common Law.
And now I see that Duke Law Dean David Levi's essay "The Autocrat of the Arm Chair" (which I blogged about last summer) is also a winner. The complete list is here.
Green Bag will reprint parts of the winning works in its Almanac, but you can read White's introduction here now and Levi's essay here now.
This post will not not win an Exemplary Award for Title Spelling.
