Dean Finalists at Iowa

As a follow-up to Dan's pre-Thanksgiving post here, the dean search committee at Iowa has released the names of its five finalists.  They are:

1) Gregory Mark (associate dean and professor at  Rutgers - Newark);

2) Nicholas Allard (partner and department co-chair at Patton Boggs);

3) Vikram Amar (associate dean and professor at UC Davis);

4) Gail Agrawal (dean and professor at Kansas); and

5) Linda Greene (professor at Wisconsin).

According to this news report, the committee considered more than 180 nominations and selected these five candidates after interviewing 15 individuals in Washington, D.C.
