Several years ago an acquaintance argued against the benefits of racial diversity in higher education because, in his view, an entering class of all White students admitted on the basis of "merit" alone could just as well "learn about race" from reading a book.
Haven't heard much from Palin on the issue of race.
Wonder what she's been reading?
