We're very pleased to welcome Professor Thomas Crocker as a guest in the Faculty Lounge. Tommy is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of South Carolina where he teaches Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure, and Jurisprudence. His recent publications include Torture, With Apologies, in the Texas Law Review, and Overcoming Necessity: Torture and the State of Constitutional Culture in the SMU Law Review. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University (home of Coach Sylvester Croom) and Yale Law School. Not just parenthetically, he received a PhD in philosophy from Vanderbilt University. He has been a fab guest at both Co-op and Prawfs, and offered particularly compelling comments to Rick Hills' troubling post, Why I am an anti-intellectual. Welcome to the Lounge!
