This is a straw-man. Arguing against "ifs" is a bit tough.

But I do wish there was a little more acknowledgment of mistake in their view of Bristol's pregnancy - especially from a group that is against premarital sex in the first place. I'd buy into this viewpoint a bit more if they acknowledged first and foremost that it was a mistake (and maybe even a sin) to have pre-marital sex in the first place. Once that is done, I'd have less trouble buying into the "challenges common to America" argument.
