I have three questions I'm curious about on this. For the first I suppose I'll just have to read the article. First, is this aimed at general deterence, or deterence of the individual? (Or, should I just read the article? Maybe.) Second, if jail doesn't deter (at least the individual), then why do so many people in jail try to get out (either by reducing bail before sentence, or asking for a shorter sentence)? Third, if deterence doesn't work, what do you think are the remaining reasons for sentencing a person? Hope all is going well.

For me it is a pleasure to comment on a blog like this, to me personally I liked very much reading, I agree with everything they say the above comments, I think if every day items like these appear in the network, I would sit at my computer reading these articles.
