After a $24 million dollar gift from Robert McKinney, IU-I Law is now the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. As I noted over at Leiter, given that geographical location is now out of IU-I's name, this makes the two Indiana University law schools distinguishable only by the name of the donor. I'm guessing this will cause some degree of brand confusion (and I wonder if the folks at the two campuses have differing views about the desirability of this confusion.)
