They are five, of fifteen, individuals named today by President Obama as recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, our nation's highest civilian honor.

I thought the Presidential Medal of Freedom was supposed to go to administration insiders who had failed spectacularly (even tragically) at their jobs, like Tommy Franks and George Tenet.
