As
Dan announced last week, our Lounge guest Richard Gershon will become the next law dean at the University of Mississippi in a few weeks. This will be Richard's third deanship, following Texas Wesleyan and Charleston.
This got me wondering if others have served as dean at three or more law schools. Four names came readily to my mind. Georgia law prof David Shipley (top right) served as its dean, following deanships at Mississippi and Kentucky. Chapman's dean emeritus Parham Williams (bottom right) previously served as dean at Mississippi and Samford. Current Notre Dame law dean Nell Newton (top left) is a four-timer, with previous experience at the helm at Denver, Connecticut, and Hastings. And Tom Read (recently retired) (bottom left) may claim the crown, having served as dean at five schools: Tulsa, Indianapolis, Florida, Hastings, and South Texas.
I may be wrong about Frank Wu - I thought he might have deaned at Howard as well, but I checked online and it looks like I was wrong. My apologies.

Here's a woman to add to the list--Gail Agrawal was interim dean at UNC-Chapel Hill, dean at Kansas, and will soon be dean at Iowa.
