I've blogged previously on BYU law professor Michael Goldsmith, his courageous battle with ALS, and his work with Major League Baseball to raise awareness of the disease. See here and here. I had the honor of being one of Professor Goldsmith's students during his first two years at BYU, first in his evidence class and second in his crim pro class.
Now comes word (via his colleague, Gordon Smith) that Professor Goldsmith has passed away.
I am sad. Very sad indeed.
Thank you for passing along this sad news, Tim. I'm very sorry to hear this and Professor Goldsmith's family, colleagues, and students will be in my thoughts.
