In full disclosure, fellow blogger Tim Z suggested it would be fitting for me to blog about the following. Yesterday, the World Economic Forum released its new rankings of the world's top financial centers. The big news was that the United States dropped from the top spot to number 3. Britain rose to the top spot as might have been expected, but the big surprise was that Australia took the second spot, jumping 9 places up the rankings.
As a sometime inhabitant of all three countries, it gives me a warm glow to know that I pick the very best financial centers for my place of residence!
