Vanderbilt Law School has named the search committee tasked with replacing Dean Ed Rubin. Lisa Bressman will be chairing the committee. She'll be joined by Suzanna Sherry, Ingrid Wuerth, Richard Nagareda, and Daniel Gervais from the law faculty. (There are non-law-profs as well.) I can't help wondering whether we might see John C.P. Goldberg leave Harvard and return to the institution where he served as an associate dean.
Note to the incoming dean: tune up the law school PR department. As the press release stands this morning, the caption to the attached photo reads "Linda Bressman" and she is referred to as "Kaiser" at one point in the text. (For posterity, here's a copy of the original dean search press release in Word; I could not save a PDF image.)
